Meet The Cast & Crew

From Broadway veterans to indie film legends to a director who filmed his horror movie in an actual jail—we’ve got the crew to make magic.

Megan and Patrick Whalen have been creating music and comedy for 20 years collectively. Performing and writing credits include Mirvish Productions, Second City, Just for Laughs and two residencies in Vegas. Their band Deep Southwest has been featured on CBC radio, Rogers, and their song “Fresh Meat” is the title track on the feature film of the same name being released in theatres 2026.

Daniel Turres is a Chilean Canadian producer now living in Chatham, Ontario. He is a director and writer, known for his independent productions such as "Little White Lie" (2017), and his recent trend of indie horror films with his directorial debut "Here For Blood" (2022). Daniel is a creatively driven and self-accomplished artist with an insatiable hunger for the next creative challenge.

His feature film "Fresh Meat" was filmed in the Chatham jail and is soon to be released on the big screen! He is excited to be directing "Deep Southwest" and working with the team at Whalen Entertainment.

Ben Srokosz is the Founder of OOAK Productions, a video and audio production team based in Chatham, Ontario. For over 20 years, Ben has been producing video content for local, regional, national, and international brands such as Montana’s, United Way, Ducks Unlimited, Sons of Kent, The Ronald McDonald House, and more. He has supervised sound on 3 distributed feature films, mixed sound for over 10 films, shorts, and web series. Has engineered and mixed over 20 studio albums.
