Howdy Y’all!

We’re Megan and Pat Whalen—a husband and wife duo who mix comedy with great country song writing. Deep Southwest was born out of the back of a pick up truck during lockdown and ever since, we’ve been traveling across Canada to backyard parties, concert venues and into your living room with our TV series.

Think Flight of the Conchords meets Letterkenny— if they got drunk on moonshine and started a country band. Our scripted musical comedy series follows the band's journey to earn a spot to perform in the fictitious (but should be real) Hawaiian Pizza Fesival in rural Chatham-Kent Ontario.
