WHAT AM I WATCHING? AND WHY?
Due Southwest is an episodic musical comedy show with heart.
It’s part sketch – part musical – part real life. All parts of a Yeehaww fun time! DEEP SOUTHWEST tries to win a spot in the coveted line up to play at the “Hawaiian Pizza Festival” in Chatham – Kent, ON.
They enlist the community for help and we meet a colourful cast of locals who help / hinder the bands progress to musical “Hawaiian Pizza Fest” glory. 20 original songs support the scripted story line and add a fun “shake your booty” feel.
Live event segments of gigs DEEP SOUTHWEST plays will highlight the amazing community in the surrounding Chatham-Kent area and will show the struggles of a band trying to make it in the Canadian music biz.
