WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

In the depth of COVID isolation Megan and Pat Whalen recorded a song in a parking garage. They were looking for a way to stop themselves from going crazy. It kind of worked. 
 

After a few successful backyard parties and a string of local media publicity Deep Southwest was born. Deep Southwest plays a mix of classic country, Canadiana and a splash of upbeat acoustic favorites 
 

With performance experience across North America The husband-wife duo wanted to pay homage to the rural roots of Southwestern Ontario that they now call home. 

Deep Southwest presents The Tailgate Tour. "Our goal is to bring a little love to the people of Southwestern Ontario and just have some good old-fashioned fun OK?" 
 

The Tailgate Tour is just what it sounds like. We drive up, drop the tailgate and play.  Dance, sing-a-long or just let the music wash your worldly worries away.
